About Us
I came up with Picture Perfect Painting because people find a blank canvas intimidating. Many of us are extremely creative, but fear that we fall short of being an “artist” because what we come up with isn’t picture perfect. I wanted to build a bridge between those two things.
Capturing the proper perspective and details of something can be the biggest stumbling blocks that cause us to say “I can’t do art”. With a full color photo on a stretched canvas it becomes no fail art.
You can add as much or as little paint you would like. Change the colors to match your decor. Suddenly an original piece of art that you sign your name on the bottom of is within your grasp.
Now think about painting the lake you visited as a child. Grandmas perfect roses. Or your cherished pet. Art is about capturing what moves us. With Picture Perfect Painting you will be able to hang love all over your walls and gift it to friends and family. I can’t wait to see what you create, as an artist.

Our Story
Welcome to the club.
Growing up out in the country in Wisconsin my imagination grew wild. I had tea parties for my bug friends. Grass soup was served from sun dried clay bowls that I formed by the river. My entire family is artistic and we spent time drawing and coloring. As I got older I discovered so many new medias to work with in The Art Room at school. I went on to be an interior designer. As I hung art or placed sculptures I always longed to be the maker of such pieces. So, I followed my dreams. I opened my very own art room to create and share my passion for all things creative with you.

Amy King has always been an artist at heart but an interior designer by trade. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she has accomplished many things, from technical such as a tax credit compliance specialist, to community building via purchasing and restoring historic commercial buildings and giving them a new purpose. Along the way, she shared her story via blogs and social media. She has built a community of positive, accepting people that delight in authentically sharing both the successes and failures we all experience. A Wisconsin native, but with surprising life changes, she has landed in San Antonio, which she loves and now calls home. Seeing that everything in her life has changed for the better, she felt it would be the perfect time to chase down her dream of creating an art space for everyone to be creative.
